Introducing the new TMA-1 DJ headphones by AIAIAI.... THUMBS UP!!
Danish headphone company, AIAIAI, known for their uber comfy, sleek, minimal-but-power-packed earphones and headphones is launching its new DJ headphones in August. subMercer Director, Gabby Mejia, along with some other subMercer residents and extended family, were recently invited to a BBQ on the breathtaking Gawker rooftop to sample (and receive) the new TMA-1’s and learn about the product. We can’t rave enough about these new cans — from the clean sound to its unparalleled comfort to its sleek, minimalist design and extreme functionality to the badass packaging. The matte black, rubberized headband is fully pliant (meaning they won’t snap or break); choice of several interchangeable ear cushions; and individually replaceable parts, including a cable with mini jacks on both ends (so you can just get a new cable if it ever shorts) and 0.4 meter coil for added length and flexibility, eliminating the possibility of stepping on the wire or pulling the jack out, are just some of the smart features of the TMA-1’s that we LOVE. But what else would you expect from headphones that were tested and designed to the specifications of the likes of Atrak, James Murphy, 2ManyDJs, Booka Shade, MSTRKRFT, Hot Chip, Erol Alkan and Matthew Dear (just to name a few)?!
